A Taste of What's New to Come: Hiatus Almost Over!

Hello!

I know its been a few months since an update, despite me actually having accomplished new projects and starting new ones. However, nothing is 100% finished. Hence the hiatus. Right now I have several projects in the works including a second DramaCon Cat Hat, my Nom-Nom Hat, the Guy Fox Hat and the Egg Head Hat--all names a work in process of course.

Aside from hats there is a pathetic attempt at a hand-puppet that most likely will not appear here, unless I am in a silly mood. That being said, I may actually get my plushie material soon and will be starting on fan-plushes that I wanted to make in June. First up: Matt from Dramacon.

Right now the Nom-Nom hat is having issues. The fabric I bought from Joann's Fabric is horrid and falling apart as I work with it. What WILL be made out of it is a demo-product of what will be made with better fabric. Right now I only have black fleece from Joann's and white fleece from the same store. The white will be turned into several hats in a week or so. We'll see what happens.

Right now, college is absorbing my time and frustrations and a convention is coming up. We'll see what happens.

Don't give up hope, I will be updating.

Thank you, thank you! I was considering paypal but I don't really know how I would turn that into real money, y'know? I'll figure it out, the next hat should be out in a few months for the colder season. We'll see how it goes and then commissions will be open. Right now I need to make more to showcase.

you should they are wonderful and I bet you could make pretty good money selling them, paypal might be the easiest way to set up shop or there is alway good old snail mail and hey just put in your journal or in the description of the pic or both x3 any way I'm looking forward to more of your work.

Heh, well thank you. I am seriously considering putting some for sale. I just have to figure out how to set up a store through the internet. I don't really know how these things work, but I love sewing and would take commissions of any sort. When I put my second hat up I'll look more into a store, the next one is a hat I have always wanted but never could find....mostly because I made it up. xD Thank you so much for the compliment though, I never thought people would like the hat so much.

Haha, thanks! That's a nice load of advice and support. How sweet. I will be making more hats in the future, probably around winter. I might start selling hats, when I get used to sewing them more. Some people asked if I had a booth in the artist's alley because I was there so much and they liked the hat. I wouldn't know how to start selling them though. Heh, but that's the future.
